Prorate a Partial Month

Started or stopped service partway through a month? This helper does the math for the partial amount so your invoice is ready to submit. It is a calculator only. Your agreement decides what is paid.

Please read before you use this

This page is a math helper. It is not a quote, a promise, or an approval of any amount. City Wide does not see, check, or save anything you type here. You are responsible for your inputs and for your invoice. The amount City Wide pays is set by your Independent Contractor Agreement and the Exhibit A for the building, based on the service actually provided. Nothing on this page changes those documents.

How to use the number

Put the amount on your invoice for this building and add a note such as "Partial month, first day to last day, number of service days." Then submit it the normal way on the Submit Your Monthly Invoice page. Invoices must be received by the 28th. Corporate accounting closes the books on the 28th, and an invoice received after that moves to the next month's payment run. If something about the month was unusual (an extra service, a missed night, a schedule change), note it on the invoice so Accounts Payable can match it to the record.

Questions about a partial month? Ask your Facility Solutions Manager before you invoice. It is faster than fixing it after.
